Today, the Inter-American Development Bank awarded a contract to decision analysis partners to perform a feasibility study of the National Broadband Network in Peru. This task is one of three project components that will be performed concurrently to establish the network’s user demand, technical feasibility and pricing.
The National Broadband Network will primarily consist of optical fiber installed over Peru’s electrical transmission infrastructure to reach unserved and underserved towns in Peru’s interior. More information can be found here.
