DAP presents at ABEP TIC August 2020 Workshop

decision analysis partners (DAP) had the opportunity to present at the ADEP (Brazilian Association of State Information and Communication Technology Entities) August 20-21 on-line workshop.  The workshop was entitled “How governments and organizations around the world use ICT systems to overcome the challenges of the pandemic”.

Ray Barber, director of DAP’s ICT practice, presented two case studies from DAP projects in the Caribbean and for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.  Ray talked about how technology developments such as SD-WAN make connecting remote offices easier and how the U.S. Telework Enhancement Act of 2010 enabled Government workers to securely work from home.  Ray then covered our experience with ICT modernization projects for State Administrations in Brazil and what the implications are for Covid-19.
