ABS Consulting and decision analysis partners provided consulting services to the U. S. Trade and Development Agency (TDA) to develop and implement a 3-day course to assist selected developing countries in complying with the International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) Code of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The team developed a curriculum based on the ISPS Part A Section 14.2, which forms the basis for the U.S. Coast Guard compliance survey, provided two professional instructors to conduct the courses, created audio visual aids to supplement the lectures, compiled a list of potential candidates for attendance from a list of countries provided by USTDA, and identified a suitable venue for the seminar and arranged for all logistics for attendees and staff.
