dap developed operational processing and physical layout guidelines for a major urban letters and flats processing plant upgrade. The study included demand forecasting, sort plant and equipment needs assessment, optimized space planning and CAD configuration of equipment and work centers. An operational capacity analysis was conducted, aiming to maximize return on investment for new capital expenditure, minimize building expansions, and reduce transition costs and impact on ongoing operations. d’ap developed multiple layout alternatives, which were evaluated jointly with the client. A final design was selected and presented to the Board for funding approval.
