Rebeca Gil has managed technical exchanges and orientation visits at decision/analysis partners since 2001. In her position, she is responsible for logistical and marketing aspects of
orientation visits, conferences and other events organized by decision/analysis partners. She has worked on all region as of the World including Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia in
support of projects for the U.S. Trade and Development Agency and other organizations. In addition to organizing and facilitating orientation visits and business briefings, Rebeca has identified potential business
opportunities, coordinated a team effort to execute them and participated in consulting projects in Latin America.
Rebeca has extensive international business experience, including in Mexico, Brazil, Honduras and Nicaragua. In Mexico, she helped coordinate a series of four Trade and
Transport Security Symposiums. She worked with contractors in four different Mexican cities coordinating each symposium in detail including hotel conference arrangements and accommodations and handled logistics
of all staff and speakers. She also assisted in research on a Definitional Mission for Information Technology Sector Projects in Honduras and Nicaragua.
She has acted as interpreter and translator for these Latin American based projects and is fluent in verbal and written Spanish.
Education: Rebeca holds a B.A. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Minor in Spanish from Radford University, 1997; she studied Spanish Business at the Enforex School in Barcelona,
Spain, 2000.
