Glenn Davis is a Senior Consultant with more than 25 years of experience designing algorithms, software and hardware. He has experience in embedded real-time systems, application-specific data compression,
recognition systems and robotics. Glenn was responsible for designing and developing system concepts and critical software and hardware for complex requirements of government clients. He has developed new
methodologies, evaluated data sources, explored and evaluated concept alternatives, designed and developed state-of-the-art solutions to fulfill particular requirements, and written code to implement designs.
Mr. Davis is involved in application-specific database compression, postal multiline optical character readers (MLOCRs) and other embedded real-time systems. In this, he prepares and
presents software development proposals and responses to requests for proposals. Mr. Davis has designed hardware and software changes to mail coding platforms to enable printing extended barcodes and lines of
alphanumeric characters, culminating in installation of new printed circuit boards implementing a synchronous state machine via programmable logic devices. He also developed a concept for a new address
encoding strategy that called Maximum Resolution Coding. It was a methodology for constructing 11-digit codes that were based on the present ZIP + 4 Codes but had individual household resolution. Generated a white
paper proposing the concept.
