dap will participate and sponsor the conference entitled “Nouveaux gisements
pour la Poste en Afrique
“, on December 8 and 9, 2011 in Marrakech, Morocco. The conference will bring together leaders from 15 francophone posts of North, West and Central Africa.

New Sources of development for the Postal Services

After a first successful conference in 2006, and following the reforms of the postal service in many African countries, i-conferences decided to organize the 2nd edition of the Africa Postal Services Forum to review major developments and trends during the last 5 years and gather, once again, the main operators of this strategic sector.

Organized in Marrakesh on the 8th and 9th of December, the 2nd edition of the postal services forum promises to be a real B2B platform to discuss and exchange on the key issues of the development postal services and growth synergies between the African and international post offices.

Entitled ” New Development Perspectives for the Postal Services in Africa “, the conference will hover around a rich and varied program that focuses on the impact of the reforms on the development of the sector, the promising sources of growth (including hybrid mail, money transfer, express mail…), the integration of Information technologies and their role in bridging the digital gap along with a special focus on the challenges of postal bank.

The conference workshops, scheduled during the first day of the conference, will meanwhile be an opportunity to tackle more practical aspects and technologies which will contribute to the development of the sector. Over 200 delegates representing industry professionals, government officials, postal services, equipment and IT providers, consultants, investment bankers are expected to attend this edition. The b2b area, the lunches and dinner will, meanwhile, be a not be a not-to-be missed platform for key operators coming from Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the US to meet, forge partnerships in a friendly atmosphere.
