Eric brings more than five years of experience in the industrial sector in support of the U.S. Coast Guard Logistics Transformation Program Integration Office (LTPIO).
Prior to joining decision/analysis partners, Mr. Declerck supported OM Partners as a Supply Chain Consultant. While at OM Partners, he worked with clients to customize and implement a
proprietary MRP solution for planning, scheduling and resource optimization of manufacturing facilities. He provided overall support of project teams contributing to deliverables and supported business and product
development. His project work includes:
- As Junior Project Manager he worked with client's SMEs to understand specifics of the manufacturing processes, machine characteristics and warehousing constraints for an independent
factory. He lead the transfer of knowledge of business requirements for integration of OMP with client's JD Edwards ERP tool. Mr. Declerck also supported development and testing of interface using predefined
.xml format and proprietary task scheduling and dispatching tools. He also provide knowledge and training to head planners and machine operators on the planning methods of OMP software during
implementation.dry-run and go-live
- As Implementation Consultant Mr. Declerck re-engineered legacy software for material allocation and routing optimization for aluminum manufacturing. He built a relational database model
and code of rules in parallel using SQL+ and C-based programming. In addition, he designed, tested and implemented the interface of OMP and Oracle ERP based on business requirement documentation.
- He was a Support Consultant on development of the database model which organized sales and production data in pyramids to retrieve effective forecasting estimates.
- Mr. Declerck designed, tested and implemented the client's AS400 system using OMP Supply Chain Integrator, OMP Profile Manager, SQL developer, and C-based macros while maintaining a
high level of performance. As part of this project, he developed and tested multiple interface workflows scripted in MSDOS and kicked-off during nightly batches using a task scheduler while reaching a 100% level
of up time for the application and data components.
Mr. Declerck also served as an Operations Analyst for The Bank of New York where he was the first line of support of SWIFT instructions processing. He assessed, reported, and resolved bugs
with mainframe system, escalate where necessary. In addition he worked with business analysts on cost/benefit analysis, writing business requirements, functional design and UAT plans for small enhancement projects.
Eric holds a Master of Science in Industrial Management from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Decision Sciences with a Minor in Economics
from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC.
